Gate Valves

• Open stem

Working principle: the valve body has a gate inside the opening and closing parts, the movement direction of the gate is perpendicular to the direction of the fluid, because it can be like a sluice to block the water, so the name gate valve.
Scope of application: fire pump outlet pipe, suction pipe; pressure regulator pump outlet pipe, suction pipe; fire water supply network
Supplementary note: open stem gate valve rotating rod is exposed, the degree of opening and closing is more intuitive, but the rotating rod is also corroded.

• Concealed stem

Working principle: the same as the open stem gate valve
Scope of application: fire pump suction pipe; fire water supply network
Supplementary note: Compared with the open stem gate valve, the dark stem gate valve rotor is not exposed, the degree of opening and closing is not intuitive, applicable to hidden projects.

Butterfly Valve

Working principle: the closing member (valve or butterfly plate) is a disk, rotating around the valve axis to achieve the opening and closing of a valve.
Scope of application: fire pump outlet pipe, suction pipe; indoor overhead piping.
Supplementary note: the applicability of butterfly valves and gate valves are similar to some of the provisions of the requirements of its self-locking function.

Exhaust Valve

Working Principle: When there is gas overflow in the system, the gas will follow the pipeline upward, and eventually gathered in the highest point of the system, and the exhaust valve is generally installed in the highest point of the system, when the gas enters the exhaust valve cavity gathered in the upper part of the exhaust valve, with the increase of the gas inside the valve, the pressure rises, when the gas pressure is greater than the system pressure, the gas will make the water surface in the cavity fall, the float with the water level down, open the exhaust port; When the gas is exhausted, the water level rises, and the float rises with it, closing the exhaust port.
Scope of application: automatic sprinkler system; dry hydrant; dry fire riser.
Supplementary note: Dry system, pre-action system and dry hydrant system are equipped with quick exhaust valves and corresponding motorized valves.
